Day one: We spent the whole day in the Mall of America! From 10AM to 10PM we were at the mall. Most of the time we were riding rides!
Saw Blue! Ben was one happy kid! We were actually in the American Girl store when we saw him walk by and rushed out to see him. Oh! We were so excited!
Then we dropped the boys off with Daddy and Tatiana and I headed back to the American Girl store for a secret mommy date! This was very special!!!
Andrew just had fun with all the sights and sounds, so much to see!
Ben rode on all the kid rides several times! He loved Diego's Rescue Bus!
Nick and Tatiana rode ALL the rides, several times. They went on the kiddie rides with Ben and the big wild rides with mom and dad...
Did I mention they were wild!?
Andrew was able to ride on a couple with mommy. He was so happy!
Day two: Science Museum. This place is HUGE! Almost too much to see and do in one day. We were there from open to almost close! I went here as a teen with Girl Scouts and it has changed so much! But the musical stairs were still there!
Lots of dinosaurs are found in this region.
and older ones!
After the museum we went and explored downtown. We found a nice park with a lot of runners and walkers. We took the kids down to the rivers edge so they could touch the Mississippi River.
Then we found a trail that lead us down by the river, right in the heart of downtown. Very cool to feel like you are in the woods, then to look up and see skyscrapers towering over you.
Lazy River fun...
Some indoor body boarding...GOOOOO NICK!!!
GOOOO TATIANA!!!
A TEN STORY HIGH WATER SLIDE!!! We rode in a raft on the way down. It was super fun and we did it many times. The only bad part is you had to climb the stairs ten stories up!
Andrew loved the little slides and the kids area!
What a water playground! Wow!
The kids wanted to go to the LEGO land store...of course!
And play some Moose Mountain Mini-Golf.
Tatiana and I went to a bead store and made some jewlery together. I made myself a mother's necklace and bracelet. Tatiana made an americana themed necklace to remind her of the Mall of America. She came up with it all on her own, very creative!
Day four: The Zoo
Okay, the highlight of MY trip was seeing the dolphin show at the zoo! For those of you who don't know, I LOVE dolphins! It was the first time the children have ever seen live dolphins and now they understand my obsession.
