Ben had a "FIREMAN" themed birthday party! I cannot believe our little Ben is now FOUR YEARS OLD!!! That teeny tiny baby laying so helpless in the NICU, too premature to even eat on his own, has grown to be an energetic, highly intelligent, adorable little boy who is full of love, life and personality! We love our Ben so much!!!
The cardboard "fire truck" the boys had fun playing in.

We played a few games, including "pin the hat on the fireman" shown in this picture and a fun game Nick made. He passed off a Webelos requirement by making a game for young children and showing them how to play it. He took cardboard and made a flame that stood up. Then he took small balls and covered them in blue paper to make "water balls". Then the boys took turns throwing the water balls at the flame and knocking it down. It was the best game of the whole party! Then we had present time!

We also had a "pull-pinata". Much safer than the "whack-em-with-a-stick" kind! Just pull the ribbons and one of them releases the candy!

Yummy cake and ice cream!

Ben's fireman cake I made for him. Not bad. It is suppose to look like Ben as a fireman.
After the party we went to the park for a picnic lunch.
Then I took Andrew home for a nap and Nathan took the three older kids flying. Ben loves to fly!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN! WE LOVE YOU!!!
