Taffy Pull!
Our Monday afternoon was slow so our little cook, Tatiana, found a taffy recipe in one of our books that she just had to try. She measured out everything herself, I did the cooking on the stove top, and once it was cool enough we all buttered up our hands and started to pull. It turned out so yummy! Now we have many little taffies all wrapped up in wax paper. The flavor? We chose peppermint of course!

Well arent you mother of the year! New baby, new blog and taffy pulling. You really do seem happy and it shows in your sweet family. Got your phone call tonight---I love these blogs so we can all keep up with each other. Can you believe we are all mothers of 4? Seems like a great club to be in. I hope to catch up in person soon. Wish we were there for your 4th of July BBQ. Wasnt in the plans for any of this year but watch out 2009. Talk soon.
Gotta agree with Sher, I think I will go hide in a dark corner now........we are not doing any of that fun stuff!! Just doing chores, and housestuff it seems:)
