Nick's Extremem Bedroom Makeover!
We redecorated Nick's bedroom. He used to have blue walls and an outer space theme. Now he has gold walls with a Chinese theme. The bedspread has red Chinese symbols on it with fussy soft red mink fabric as a backing. The red Chinese sayings on the walls I printed off from online and laminated. The fabric for the window treatment has Chinese dragons on it and we hung it on a bamboo pole. The bamboo thing hanging from the ceiling we turned into a "dragon cage" (instead of a bird cage). I am not sure what it is but my friend, Dianne, gave me a bunch of baskets and two of these things that her grandparents had gotten in Thailand in the late 50's. We still have his shelf up displaying all his homemade projects and Nathan made him a belt rack for his Tae Kwon Do belts. Nick LOVES his new room!

I'm still so impressed that you have the motivation to get all this done. (I still haven't done much housework! Ugh!)

It looks great! I LOVE the dragon cage! What a great use for that. (I think originally it went with a pole that the Thai people put on their shoulders to hold baskets of stuff. At least that's what I was told)
