A few odds and ends

A few things we did, that I actually remembered to bring my camera too, before the summer came to a close.

On August 14th, we went down to Eugene and met up with some friends for a fun day in the park. Cute bunch of kids! Nick and Tatian had been asking to go to this particular park all summer. It is a lot of fun for the kids. I regret not getting more pictures of them playing. Oh well.

August 18th was our Cub Scout Bike Rodeo. We opened it up to siblings ages 8 to 10. It was a lot of fun for the kids. Nick and Tatiana are both very steady on their bikes. Good job guys! Ben had fun riding his bike around on the side while Andrew sat in his stroller near me as I manned a station. Nathan was helping other scouts. Family night!

The next day we went to Springfield to the $1.50 theater to see "Ice Age, Dawn of the Dinosaurs". It was a great movie and the kids all really enjoyed it. We went with our friends, the Nelsons, so Nick and Ben each had a friend. Then we invited one of Tatiana's friends to come along so she had somebody to sit by. It was a fun day and all the kids were being so good that we decided to see a second movie, "Night at the Museum 2, Battle of the Smithsonian" which wasn't as good as the first Night at the Museum movie, but still very entertaining for the kids. Hey, we traveled 40 minutes to see a cheap movie, might as well see two! Andrew is not pictures here, but he did come too.
