Thursday, September 11th, was Ben's second day of speech class. He loves going to "school" and seeing his new friends and his teacher. He brings a back pack just like Nick and Tiana and he feels very big. He really wanted to ride the bus like his brother and sister do too. The first week I took him and picked him up and he was not happy with mom. His new little buddies were getting on the bus and his totally un-cool mom had to pick him up in the mini-van. Oh! how horrid! So I compromised and decided that I would drop him off in the morning so that I could touch base with his teacher if she needed something and then he could ride the bus home.He had a blast and was just beaming when he arrived home! Now he asked everyday if he can ride the bus. He rolls his fist around eachother (like the hand action to the song "The Wheels on the Bus") and says, "Bus?!" with raised eyebrows and a look of anticipation and hope. Then I say, "No, the bus in on Thursday." and he responds with drooping shoulders and a disheartened, "oh". He is so precious!!!
