Sunday Snow

You heard right, Snow!!! On Sunday morning we woke up to a little bit of snow outside. We have to leave for church by 8:20 (because of the icy roads) so I let the kids play out in it for about 20 minutes before church, yes IN their church clothes! You are only a kid once and snow only comes to the valley floor maybe once a year, twice if your really lucky. I knew the snow wouldn't last long and may be melted by the time we got home from church so they played in the snow in their church clothes before church. There were several people that smiled and waved as they drove by. Yeah, I'm a cool mom (according to my kids, who could ask for a better compliment!!!)

Well, I am also a smart mom because by the time we got out of church all the snow had melted. The whole way home the kids were wondering if they still had their giant snowballs or not. When we pulled up to our house they saw their snowballs and their snowballs were the ONLY snow left in our neighborhood! At least that we saw. So they changed their clothes, except Ben, and played with their snow some more.
