Nick's 5th Grade Graduation

Nick's 5th grade graduation was a lot of fun! I was in charge of the refreshments, here they are...

Here is our handsome graduate bringing me a flower as he marches up to the front.

Getting his "diploma" from his teacher, Mr. Koontz. He is a great teacher and Nick had a blast in his class this year!

Posing with his principal, Mr. Thompson.

And a bunch of his buddies enjoying the refreshments after the ceremony. Life is good!

Afterwards they all went to the park. Here is a picture of Ben excitedly pointing to Nick on top of the cannon with his friends. That little boy totally admires his big brother!

And Nick and his buddies are so cool to be nice and include Ben in their celebration. Here they pose with him in a picture. After this picture I took Ben and we went home, leaving Nick to hang out with his friends.

Congratulations Nick!

Big Moments for our Family...

June was full of big moments for our family. These are in no particular order, actually they are in the order that the pictures uploaded, which for some reason is not the chronological order I tried to do it in. Oh well, here we go...

We had to say goodbye to our next door neighbors. We spent the last day of school with our friends. They didn't just move, they moved to England! Ah!!! We are going to miss you guys sooo much!

But before they left I took the kids all out to eat at Burgerville, they don't have those in England! Yum!

At the school awards assembly Nick received an award for Accelerated Reader. We are very proud of him. Way to go NICK!!!

Tatiana bridged from Brownies to Juniors! She was very proud. She had a great three years as a Brownie and now she is excited to wear green!

Tatiana's Brownie troop at the bridging ceremony!

Ben's preschool ended for the year. Here he is at the park with all his classmates. It was a great year!!!

Nathan and the boys all rode their bikes in a half marathon. They all did great! Nathan pulled the two little boys in the bike trailer and Nick came in first in his age division! Way to go!!!

Ben had a Tae Kwon Do belt test and passed! Ben now proudly sports a yellow belt! Good job little man!

Random June Memories...

Here are several random pictures from our June. I had to document these memories, but didn't want to do a separate post for each one. So here we goooo!!!!

Ben thought of this completely on his own and Andrew loves it! He has figured out how to attach the bike trailer to his rear training wheel and take Andrew for rides on his bike! Too cute! He even buckles Andrew in correctly!

A precious moment! Two little boys enjoying a good book and a soft blanket together.

Another precious moment! Three of our children all caught quietly reading (Andrew is of course just looking at the pictures, but trying so hard to be like his big brother and sister!) How sweet are they!?

When Grandma and Grandpa Tolman were here they took the kids to a garage sale at the neighbor's and this awesome panda costume was one of their purchases. Andrew makes a super cute panda bear!

Fun with water balloons!!!!

This is our breakfast on "National Donut Day"! I know they are not liked by everyone, but we love our donuts!

Our first strawberry picking of the year, YUMMY!!!! We celebrated by having strawberry shortcake! Ben was so excited that he had to take some pictures, these two are his...
the berries...

the mommy!
My boys enjoying their treat. Ben traded the camera for the strawberry shortcake, wouldn't you?!

Playing games...

Lots of them! (We usually keep up birthday decorations for at least a week!)
Trying on some wooden shoes from Holland that mom and dad brought back.

Andrew got big boy pants!!!!

Billions of Bubbles!!!!!!
OH! SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Andrew!!!

Here is a fun slide show of some birthday pictures from Andrew's 2nd birthday! Nathan and I arrived back home on his birthday which was great! Grandma did a great job getting everything wonderfully decorated. Our friend, Angie, made the adorable train cake. I had gotten his present before we left. It was a wonderful day for our little man!
