A Blessed Day!

Sunday, July 6th, Nathan blessed Andrew at church giving him a name and a blessing. Several worthy priesthood holders who are close to our family were able to be a part of the blessing circle. We particularly were excited that Andrew's grandpa, Perry Tolman, was able to be a part of this special day with us! We are very happy and very blessed by such a sweet and precious baby boy!

I made his blessing outfit and Nathan took some nice pictures. I will be adding them to this post once we get them uploaded from Nathan's camera so be sure to check back!

After church we hosted a luncheon in our backyard to thank everyone who helped us during my bed rest trial and to introduce Andrew to everyone. It was a good time with wonderful people and great weather. I had made seven salads, bought one (Costco potato salad is just too easy to pass up!), and about five others brought salads too share too. There were about 70 people who showed up! It was a great day!

This is Edith, she is the friend who stayed with the kids when Andrew was born. Her and her husband, Gary, are a part of our family. No, not blood related, we adopted them in!

So sorry we couldn't be there! I'm glad it went well.

Take Care!
