Huntsville, AL

After Nashville we traveled down to Huntsville, AL to visit the U.S. Space and Rocket Center! The kids had a blast there. Nick was in heaven with all this space and science around him! Wow! I have never seen his eyes so big as he was trying to absorb everything around him!

Here, Tatiana is standing in Buzz Aldrin's moon boot print!

And Nick with his foot in Neil Armstrong's moon boot print!

They explored inside a model space station. It was very fascinating to see how they live in space!

How they sleep in space...

and wash hands in space...

and shower in space! Notice how there is a vacuum hose to suck up the water.
Ben had fun exploring to. He was so excited that he wouldn't stand still long enough to pose for a picture with something. So I got him to give me a quick "CHEEEESE!" for this picture!

Look at how HUUUGE that space shuttle and rocket launcher is!!! Wow!!!
Did you know this moon rover folds up to fit in the spaceship? Pretty cool huh! A Lunar Module and some pretty cool astronauts.
I'll end with this photo. I love it how Nick takes care of his younger siblings and how much they look up to him. He is so great with Ben. And to Ben, there is none greater than his big brother!
There are more pictures but I cannot find them. Nathan has been too busy to organize them from the different cameras. The kids were able to ride on some fun rides, do a rock climbing wall, and see a LOT of really cool and really BIG things! I definatly recommend going here, especially if your kids are into science and space!
